Review on Renewed OnePlus 7 Pro GSM Unlocked Phone - 256GB, 6.7" Display, Mirror Grey, Android OS by Peter Nobles

Much to love but first bad updated experience.

TL;DR Feels smooth and fresh like brand new. However, there were large scuffs/scratches on the sides. The scratches didn't bother me, but the loose charging port was unacceptable. OP7P (OnePlus 7 Pro) was released in early 2019. This phone is over two years old. It was amazing to get this phone at this price point (taking the specs into account). This was to be my first Android phone (formerly an iPhone user). However, there were a lot of things that I wouldn't consider worthy of "updated". The phone was well packed (not original box) with fake and cable (no charger). The phone was wrapped in a single layer of thin bubble wrap. When removing the bubble wrap, many scuffs and scratches were revealed on the sides. Especially near the left side and bottom edge of the phone. I was upset but didn't turn away from him completely. That is, until I tried to charge it. The USB Type-C connector could not stay in the phone at all. It loses charge when moved a little. It wasn't due to a bad cable as I tested the phone with several cables that I use for my computer. The only way to keep this phone charged is to hold the plug firmly in the phone, otherwise it would easily slip out during use. The glass on the front and back looked clean with no obvious scratches (I can't see very well so don't take my word for it). The pop-up camera worked flawlessly and there were no issues setting up Face ID or the fingerprint scanner. I've just requested a replacement so I'm taking a look at how other updated models look and if they're really worth the price. I will update my review once I receive the replacement unit.
