Review on 🏎️ Enhanced Performance: Walker Exhaust Ultra EPA 16360 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter by Jason Vigil

A Geo Prizm with over 220,000 miles had the check engine light on for catalyst efficiency code P0420. Replacing the catalytic converter with this cleared the code for it to pass the test. The description notes for this catalytic converter say front and rear gaskets are included but the one I received did not have them. I don't know if they were missing from the warehouse deal I bought or if they aren't in any of them. This car uses the same o-rings front and rear instead of flat flanges. The bolts had to be cut off as they were rusted solid and the heads were too small for the 14mm and too big for the 13mm. Even when the head was hammered at 13mm for a very tight fit, the screw would not move and the corners were rounded, shearing off all the screws for removal. The catalytic converter looked very similar to the one removed and fitted perfectly. The removed catalytic converter did not look clogged or deformed in any way, but it did not appear to be doing its job as the engine light that had been on for several months went away shortly after this catalytic converter was installed. It cost money to pass the TÜV for another year.
