Perfect fit for my 1996 Tacoma and no more checking the engine.

Fits perfectly on my 1996 Tacoma and no longer needs to check the engine. On this truck model, after installation and a few miles of driving, you may need to pull one of the battery cables to reset the warning light. I had to.

Flanges are turned with turned bolt holes.

The end flanges were welded rotated horizontally so the bolt holes do not match the OEM downpipe and exhaust flange bolts. One was cocked to the left, the other to the right. Absolutely bad quality control. Walker needs to control its products better. The good news is that the return process went smoothly. Simply ship the part to UPS, no box or label required, and it will be boxed and shipped back. It doesn't cost me anything

Not built as expected

Although Walker must be a good cat. Manufacturer. The fit of your car wasn't quite right. The Walker is supplied with 2 flat flange gaskets. The flange was not like the original. My truck had o-rings grooved on both flanges for gasket insertion. The CAT exhaust supplied was the wrong one, too big and not for the knurled insert o-ring. Reused the ring on the rear flange and placed on a flat front. Let's see if they hold up and which ones wear out and leak first. I was told that this is a…

Ideal construction of good quality, 49 state legal.

Easy to install, exactly the same size as the OEM unit. The flanges are thick, flat and regular. The screw holes are correctly positioned and slightly enlarged for easy installation. Gaskets are included despite what the Walker rep says here about Revain. This made my truck quieter than if I had used a 'control tube' instead of a converter, and it is legal for smog, although currently not controlled in my area. That's about 25% of what the retailer charges. This fits some still-popular…

1992 Toyota pickup for catalytic converters and parts

Bought for 1992 Toyota pickup. Fits well, is padded on both sides. The exhaust system was replaced, so even the original needed some Permatex 80335 muffler and tailpipe sealant to stop leaks. Reuse existing screws. New bolts/nuts are not included. No flow direction arrow. Searched the web for a definitive answer on direction. A question and answer on another site indicated that the inlet should be labeled 'Stream'. Not there. Appears to be bi-directional. Since they are made of precious metals,

Turned off the check engine light on a 1997 Geo Prizm

A Geo Prizm with over 220,000 miles had the check engine light on for catalyst efficiency code P0420. Replacing the catalytic converter with this cleared the code for it to pass the test. The description notes for this catalytic converter say front and rear gaskets are included but the one I received did not have them. I don't know if they were missing from the warehouse deal I bought or if they aren't in any of them. This car uses the same o-rings front and rear instead of flat flanges. The…
