I had to have my laptop repaired; Replacing the CMOS battery. Replacing a laptop's CMOS battery is a very complex process that involves removing almost all of the external screws and then separating the palm rest, mouse, keyboard, and associated cables from the chassis. Spudgers are very useful tools since they are made of plastic. So if you rip off the plastic pieces, you're less likely to ruin a nice finish like a screwdriver would. Spudgers also do not conduct electricity and therefore protect against electrostatic discharge (ESD), static electricity that can destroy your computer. They arrived via my main mailing and worked great, I recommend them.
