It's great to keep a little creature in one place
It's a bit tiresome trying to keep a hamster in a ball from rolling around when trying to clean its cage. This solves this problem. We put the hamster in the cage, put it on the sidewalk, and then clean it, without worrying about where the little rodent ended up. This makes the whole process smoother.
