🐹 Optimized Small Animal Exercise Loop: Kaytee Hamtrack Review

It's a bit tiresome trying to keep a hamster in a ball from rolling around when trying to clean its cage. This solves this problem. We put the hamster in the cage, put it on the sidewalk, and then clean it, without worrying about where the little rodent ended up. This makes the whole process smoother.

This thing is very easy to put together, very light and does exactly what it was designed to do. I brought my hamster here for a few hours and she seems to like it. Although in reality it never makes a full circle, but only revolves around half a cycle. Either way, it's better than trying to escape the cage 24/7 and I'm sure she'll appreciate the variety. Be sure to get this if your hamster can't stop escaping, it means he's really bored!

I bought a 5" ball for my little 1 year old midget robots. The small air grooves seemed to prevent them from running quickly across my floors. My Syrian hamster loves running around in his ball on this track. We have a 7 inch ball. The ball never falls off track. I don't know if a 10 inch ball will fall off the track. Like others, I hope that the company will go in the right direction. I may have to find my own direct path somehow. The track is relatively easy to assemble. Bought so my hamster doesn't hit shit. Works great but made out of flimsy plastic. I once built one from a set of 2 and kept it under my bed as "number 8". I highly recommend NOT taking it apart and sorting it out often as I doubt it will last long. The course is wide, allowing horizontal movement with a 7-inch ball and quite likely a 9-ball.
