There may have been a quality control issue with the one I ordered, but mine was significantly longer (nearly half an inch) than my other tips of the same design and form factor. I ended up having to measure out a piece of filament, carefully melt the tip and attach it to my bl touch to allow the probe to pass the tip of the nozzle. Once cared for, the prints come out beautifully. Just a big problem when I want to switch attachments. Between fumbling with a piece of filament and drastically changing the Z-bias. Switching to this attachment takes about 10 extra minutes to set everything up. Switching back takes less time, especially if you pay attention to the settings you were using before switching. Hopefully I can think of something to attach to the probe so I can only have one known value for it in my notes. You can get pretty close when measuring a piece of filament, but it changes when you melt the tip and attach it to the probe and may not be fully vertical, resulting in a lot of scattering. Annoying and disappointing.
