Great system (updated)

I used to have a wired camera that worked intermittently and sometimes wouldn't turn on at all. After installation I had problems installing the monitor in the cockpit. In my opinion, the camera system should come with a windshield mount. Some suggestions to make this system even better: 1) Make a mount adapter that fits into the rearview mirror slot that can be glued directly to the glass as a rearview mount for stability; 2) the ability to buy more than 2 monitors if you have multiple trailers and don't want to broadcast the camera to each one; 3) Monitor brightness decreases rapidly between settings 1 and 2 to the point where it becomes unreadable, making low brightness almost unusable; 4) Volume control. does this camera support sound? I don't know but it's the settings, I give this system 5 stars for ease of installation and picture quality. This system works VERY well. Highly recommended, instantly makes your rig safer and more enjoyable to manoeuvre. With the appropriate 12 volt adapters, this system can also be used with an air conditioner if required. Would I buy again and will probably buy more cameras. **Update** System Usage: Well I've been able to use this product for almost 2 weeks. In such a short time he has prevented 2 accidents. I really can't see anything from the back of my Ford F-350 RV or the back of a cargo trailer. This system is absolutely necessary. In short, it works great. The cameras are larger than a regular license plate camera (I have one), but this system has a much higher resolution. Installation was easy. I decided to tie with running light. I recommend soldering the connection or at least soldering the connection to the electrical connector. I decided to install one camera on the back of the truck and one on the back of the trailer. Installation Note: Make sure your camera is properly grounded. My trailer camera had intermittent mass, causing the video feed to go on and off as the trailer bounced. I fixed the problem and haven't had any problems since. I didn't have to use the included signal extender and my transmitters are about 40 feet apart. It's just great. Low Light: I have "experience" with all types of night vision systems, infrared cameras and low light camera systems. This system automatically switches from color to black and white/infrared (can be switched off with one button). In my case, the camera is installed directly in the camper and the infrared light blinded the rear window. So I just covered the infrared lights with tape and it worked. The low light image is sharp and clear up to the camera's line of sight, which I estimate is 100 meters in low light and 200 meters in normal light/color mode. Recording Capabilities: Capable of recording up to 70 hours of video from both cameras simultaneously. If more than 70 hours have passed, the data will simply be overwritten. Someone might find this feature useful. Company: Rarely does a company communicate so well and actually keep a promise. You did this for me twice. This is how you gain regular customers and build your business. Great job Jun Liu! Additional recommendations: 1) For my use, I've found that a windshield mount is a must. It is very stable and does not wobble. This should be enabled by default. With a suction cup mount, there is no need for an alternative mount. 2) It would be nice to be able to purchase individual components separately. Suction cup mount, monitor or camera in case of damage to multiple vehicles or trailers. I really like this system. For larger rigs (50-60ft and up) I would consider purchasing a similar 4 cam model. The concept is the same, the cameras are almost the same, only the monitor can receive 4 simultaneous video streams.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance
