I had really high hopes for this pump and it didn't live up to expectations. I have an 18 inch air mattress and this pump was not able to inflate it to a full charge. The initial charge takes 12 hours and then needs to be charged for another 8 hours to use it again. This isn't very useful if you haven't fully inflated your air mattress and just need a few more minutes to clean it. Everything is ready. Chances are you won't have 8 hours to charge it. I understand that having a smaller air mattress would work well, but I was very hopeful. If I knew how long it takes to charge I would probably choose a rechargeable one. For those using a smaller air mattress or just trying to inflate the floats in the pool this is great! If you want to pump something big, look for something with more capacity or faster loading times. Next time I will use the wall charger to inflate my air mattress at least halfway and then get it ready in the tent.
