Review on 🍾 Stainless Steel Bottle and Can Opener by OXO SteeL by Shawn Xayamonty

One of these knives has been in my kitchen for a few years now and I love it so I recently bought another one to use at the bar. The one I received was defective: the tab on the end of the punch didn't rotate properly so the punch didn't catch the edges of the cans to pierce them. After reading the reviews here, it seems like everyone who uses it to open bottles is perfectly happy, but everyone who uses it to punch cans says it's useless. And although I agree, at least for those that are being manufactured now. For me, the main application for this is the stamping of glasses; I have a bottle opener. So if it can't punch through cans (which is a VERY easy job that even dollar store punchers can do), then it's useless to me. I have requested a return and Revain is sending me a replacement. If the new one works I'll give it a chance and update my review. UPDATE: The new one I received has the same error. Obviously the problem lies in the last production line. I have contacted OXO but have not yet received a response from them.
