If you have a roof rack with fork and multiple bikes without a thru axle, this adapter is for you. This adapter is very useful as I can keep a stock Thule rack for my other bikes but use this adapter when transporting a mountain bike. It's a "boost" spacing (meaning it's 110mm wide) and it works pretty well. However, he tends to slip so that the crossbar rests on top of the post. It wasn't a problem for many freeway miles, but it's something to be aware of. 4 starts with a high price and a slippage issue, but overall it's very useful and a real problem solver.
