Review on 🔌 Enhanced Performance with Parallax Power Supply 4400TAU Temperature Compensation Upgrade for Converters by Jerimiah Augustine

The 4400TAU is an upgrade of my 8355 RV Inverter/Charger. This review is only about the installation procedures and I can say that the installation was an easy task. I had to purchase a Torx T-15 (star) screwdriver to remove the cover plate on my 8355 converter. The 4400TAU mounts to the case and plugs into an 8-pin connector on the converter board. The hardest part was routing the sensor cable from the converter through the condo to the 12v battery. I was able to run the sensor cable under my couch to the front of the RV and through the same access point as the 12v battery into the battery compartment. Then that will do Sensor cable connected to the negative pole of the battery. With the 4400TAU, my converter now knows the temperature condition of the battery and adjusts the charge voltage accordingly. When I first turned the RV on, the clear 8-pin connection on the sensor cable lit up, indicating the charger was in a boost cycle. Time will tell if that was a good investment.
