Trust me on this one. We bought the Taurus cheap. Just because they scattered pieces of it and couldn't get it to work properly. One of the parts they replaced was the IAC. They found the cheapest Chinese aftermarket IAC they could find. The code moved MAC yet. Replaced the new one with a new Motocraft. This cheap car drives better than the expensive one. Use Motocraft parts if necessary. I bet the people who sold us the car would love one. Seemingly. Aftermarket idle valves do not have the same coils in the solenoid. The various voltages sent/received by the ECM will not give the same ohm readings as Motocraft. Don `t save. Use the original. 10.00 no more headaches. And maybe you can find a cheaper car?
