I bought this cable for its intended purpose when we travel in unguarded areas. I use it to connect my S9+ [Android] phone to a 10 year old Samsung HDTV. in our trailer. We connected the cable to a USB-C port on my phone and then to an HDMI TV. Select HDMI in your TV's input settings and I immediately open my phone's home screen. I opened the Netflix app on my phone and started the movie from Downloads. The first view was not full screen compared to the phone and TV. Go back to "Settings" on the TV and select "Picture / Fit to screen". Excellent! The sound also works through the surround system, albeit with a slight hum. I'm working on this issue and expect it could be the amp. Then I will try to connect audio to my Jambox speaker via BT. In general, I am very satisfied with the work. I used to assemble wire harnesses for spaceships and I believe this article is a well made wire.
