Instant PnP connection to SCSI cables

I bought this cable for its intended purpose when we travel in unguarded areas. I use it to connect my S9+ [Android] phone to a 10 year old Samsung HDTV. in our trailer. We connected the cable to a USB-C port on my phone and then to an HDMI TV. Select HDMI in your TV's input settings and I immediately open my phone's home screen. Loud crackle like a hit (Updated 09/10/2020)

Connected to my Surface Pro 7 so my Denon X3500. Intermittent picture, loud percussive sound. I thought I was going to blow up my system. If it wasn't choppy, the frozen image looked fine. No direct connection when using Samsung S9 (i.e. not working as advertised)

This connector should work just fine if you need to stream various applications from your phone to a projector or monitor (any destination with an HDMI -Connection). When connecting USB-C to my Samsung S9 and then to my projector (Epson) or monitor (LG), there was no source detection. Just a black screen with a message about the lack of a source. Even when trying to use Dex from my phone, with the Dex on there was no indication that the phone knew it was connected to a video device through that

The best cable I've bought so far.

See I've tried many HDMI to USB-C cables because even though I have a smart TV, it doesn't support screen sharing. My last cable was from Gator Cable and I thought it was bee knees. But in the end, the USB-C connector came loose like hot dogs down the hall. And that means that once plugged in, the connection breaks very easily and I've pretty much had to leave it on the table or lose connection when moving or picking it up.
