I bought a pair of these adapters from another vendor and both ports work at the same time when installed as in fig 1 and 6. A few months later I bought a pair from this seller (Oxsubor) and they did NOT work. My cable tester showed that despite looking almost identical, they are connected differently. Adapters that are NOT working have all 8 wires duplicated on both ports. They are technically just a coupler with an extra connector and cannot act as Ethernet cable splitters as Ethernet devices cannot share the same conductors in the cable. The supplier misrepresents this product and may not understand that it is intended for a different application.
