Run away from this product

Took about 7 uses for me. The first few times I've used it, I couldn't be happier with the product. Simple, works great, price etc. I noticed a small amount of moisture under the display after a recent use. I let the unit air dry for a few days hoping the moisture would evaporate before next use. It's not like this. On the next use, half of the screen went black. The device was dried again and the screen was 90% black the last time it was used. The device should be waterproof. It's anything but waterproof. Mine has never been in the water and has not been damaged through negligence. The device was always on my lap and only occasionally dripped through the usual use of a kayak paddle. I sent a note and photo to Lucky's home office hoping to have the display replaced for free or at a significant discount. A few days later someone replied. They claimed that the internal damage to the screen was external damage. They also saw a mark or stain on the hull from a previous water drop and stated it was damage. I then searched for the same location on my device and deleted it with a swipe of my finger. They offered to ship me a new device directly from China at a discounted rate of $50. Guess what. The "reduced" price is the same price I paid for a new one here at Revain. Ridiculous customer service. Do not buy this item for its water resistance.
