Anyone who has worked a lot with tools knows that Allen keys are very practical. but cannot absorb large amounts of torque. Ball screw drivers and ratchet drives don't mix well. I have to admit that I ordered them without looking closely at the photos. It just never occurred to me that these tools would be designed the way they are. What I mean is that the shaft of each drive needs to be a hex that is the same size as the ball on the end. But here it is not so. If the shank was a reasonably sized hex and you needed to apply more torque than the ball can handle, you could just grind the ball and get to work. Or if you've damaged the ball from over-torqueing, you can just grind it down and still have a very useful tool. Some of the drivers in this sentence are logical, reasonable, and correct, but most are not. Most of them are one-off deals that will soon end up in a landfill.
