Amazing kettle in the kitchen and dining room

The color is great for a kitchen that's mostly black and white. I've had this kettle for a few months now and it looks brand new. It cleans really well and since I can remove the lid and clean the inside of the kettle, I can get rid of stubborn deposits with regular washing instead of using vinegar or other cleaning products. It's great that the inside of the teapot is enamelled and makes this possible. The handle doesn't get hot like others say. Well, if you let the flame burn around the base it will burn, but that's the fault of the flame size or the burner, not the kettle's fault. If the flame is centered under the kettle, the handle will not get hot. At first I thought I would need an oven mitt to open the spout after cooking, but I didn't. It's easy to open, so a quick, firm push on the squishy end of the lid pops it open easily without burning yourself. I appreciate the lid that opens up a large space for pouring water. This means I can pour water into a mug and then into a teapot, giving me the exact amount of water I need and preventing water loss. All in all I can assume that this kettle will last for many years. Good cleaning also means it looks good.
