I really wanted to like this, especially after taking all the time to install them along our gutter line. But we could never get the remote to work correctly. I would have to hit the power button 20 plus times just to get them to come on. One time I hit it at least 50 times and they never came on. I was thinking it was just a remote issue, so I had Revain issue me a replacement, and it was exactly the same! They just wouldn't power on. Didn't matter how close you were which way the remote was facing how you hung the transmitter, nothing really worked. I ended up spending a lot more at a local store to buy name brand, and the remote on those works crazy awesome. I can be on the other end of the house behind closed doors and tap the button and they turn on. So there is definitely a problem with the way these lights work as far as the RF frequency with the remotes.
