I received these pliers today and they are nicely made and have the smooth type coating on the handles. I prefer this type of coating to the softer thick foam grip pliers that everyone seems to make these days because they are easier to keep clean. The only reason I knocked off 1 star is because they have red grips with white lettering not green (Which is what I really wanted) like the picture on the product page. They are still a good set of pliers so i am going to keep them.
