Okay, you can damage the teeth if you cut very thin metal or hardened metal. Otherwise, the claim of 50 times longer durability than a standard blade seems correct to me. Teeth can chip off if the metal you're cutting is too thin and chatter and jam the teeth, and they can chip off if you hit something hard (very hard, like a wear edge). Otherwise, this blade is unbeatable for cutting angle, U or flat iron as well as thick-walled pipes. Just be sure to properly maintain your work because it's a shame to bend/break one of these blades before their lifespan is up.
