I was very impressed with the quality of this product. I found it easy to install, but I've been a builder all my life and consider myself very mechanical. I think the instructions could be more helpful. My setup was a little off as I had to cut out a door in my basement due to the low ceilings. Because of this I had to work backwards and calculate the gaps between the railings and then determine the height of my door to ensure I would have room for the railing. The hardware is very solid and the build quality is great. I had to cut the studs as my door was thin. I used a portable band saw to cut them and it worked great. I can recommend this set of equipment. This worked great for my 42" wide door.
