I've always had no choice but to use the cheapest toaster I could get my hands on, until now. I'm finally able to upgrade my kitchen tools, I wanted my pots, pans and appliances to be red. This toaster is gorgeous! The chrome facing is beautiful and adds to the ruby red on the sides. It can toast up to four pieces at once. I love my multi-grain bread, but I've always had to cut off a part of one side of the bread, so it would fit into my toaster. My bread fits perfectly now. It is also wide enough for thick slices or bagels. It comes with extra settings. You can brown one side of your bagel. You can put your frozen waffle into this and it will defrost it first before browning. just with a push of a button. Since this product is new, there is something you will need to do before you toast your first bread. Set the settings on the very lowest setting first. Then turn it on for about 20 seconds to allow the heating elements to get hot. It will produce that new appliance smell, as things break in. If you try to toast your bread before doing this. your toast might have a hint of burning plastic smell. Once your toaster has been basically seasoned. toast away! It has six setting for darkness. I think setting it on four, is the perfect darkness for my toast. What more can I say? This toaster is gorgeous!
