Easy to install on 2018 GX460 with Sport Look Package. For my application I had to remove the trim from the lower center bumper. It uses 4 plastic rivets that require you to gently lift your head to remove the rivet. Save the trim piece or recycle it. I doubt you'll return it after the tow hitch is installed. After removing the trim, you can slightly lower the replacement, align the hitch to the factory holes and install. Return the replacement part after installation is complete. The spare is moved slightly forward to accommodate the tow hitch. FYI, at the top of the bumper, near the center, there's a small access panel that you (gently) pry off with a screwdriver or plastic trim tool. The pins for lowering the spare wheel are located in the gullwing door. This speaks for itself once you remove the tools and find the access port. Follow the instructions to tighten the hitch mounting bolts to the correct torque for your vehicle. If you don't have a torque wrench, some auto parts stores will loan you one for the day. The hitch worked well for the 1200 mile trip the next day. No complaints. Our 2018 GX460 came pre-equipped with a 4-pin flat cable and 7-pin round cable. The connectors are on the driver's side behind the bumper. One last tip: I bought a 4-way flat extension because the standard trailer wiring was too short. This is likely due to Lexus placing the trailer connectors behind and to the left of the hitch. I hope this will arm you with some additional information when you get to work.
