Good replacement cable for Saturn SL1 Manual

Great replacement cable for my 1998 Saturn SL1. Replacing a part is quite difficult. If like most you turn to YouTube for help, ignore the person telling you to remove and reinstall the engine compartment. I tried that and three hours later I got in the car and removed the wires and replaced them. Not easy, but much easier than on the engine side. Therefore, the rubber and metal plate should never go through this small hole. The largest ends required for passage are the same at both ends. Therefore, your natural solution should be to use a method that doesn't require pushing the rubber sheet through the hole you want it to cover. I'm not sure what was wrong with this poster, but it was a helpful video nonetheless. The cable comes with the usual buggy plastic and rubber grommet for the rear derailleur stay. If you want a durable one, just google or go to e-bay for delrin or stainless steel replacements. I didn't have any lube so lube how you want. Graphite lends itself well to dry or periodic lubrication, avoiding rubber. UPDATE: On February 11, 2016 the end of the cable attached to the derailleur broke requiring a complete cable replacement. In the end you can think of OEM. Too heavy to replace often. It is better to pay a higher price and install once.
