Smart rear light if you get it right

After almost getting knocked over by an elderly rider I decided to buy a rear light for my bike. The HLOMOM intelligent rear light has several useful functions once you understand how it works. The instructions are poorly written and omit some important details which I finally figured out by asking a question to the seller and other answers. Here are some time-saving tips to get the most out of this taillight. (There may be more surprises.)* Battery level. When the flashlight is off, a short press of the center button shows you the battery level. Green >= 80%, Green 30-80% and Red < 30%.* Turn On (Manual Mode) - A long press on the center button switches the light to manual mode. In manual mode, the function/function of the extra bright brake light will still work.* Automatic mode: After the light is switched on, a double quick/quick press of the center button will switch to automatic mode and the center button will turn green. The brake light function works in each of the 6 lighting modes. After 30 seconds the light goes out. Movement activates the light. * Power off - when in automatic mode, you need to press twice quickly to return to manual mode and press again to turn it off. In manual mode, pressing once turns off the light. The seat rail bracket is slightly crooked. Use the cable ties provided to secure the bracket. The mount features a lever to detach the flashlight for safe storage and charging. Other brands have a removable screw mount. The bar mount is a friction fit rubber band with felt pads to protect the stem. This mount also has a lever to detach the light so you can leave the tape on the post. This flashlight is only IPX 4 waterproof, which means only moisture can penetrate. The best brands have at least IPX5 for splash protection or even water immersion. The charging port uses a micro USB cable. Other brands have a newer USB-C connector, given the poor instructions, inflexible rail mount, minimal water protection and outdated charging feature, that's only 4.5 stars for me. I'm highlighting the square shape as it differs from the typical round taillights. The light is good and functional considering the shortcomings.
