I've joined the pellet grill revolution this spring and am enjoying our pit boss. However, I missed the stronger smoky flavor that our smoker gives. I've noticed a lot of smoke coming out of the Pit Boss lid. A friend advised me to buy this tape around the hood where the door rests. I was pleasantly surprised to find that smoke (and heat) no longer escapes under the lid, allowing more smoke to stay in the grill longer before exiting the chimney. A simple 5 minute solution that makes food even tastier!
