I am very happy with this item as I have had several old laptops that have died and not backed up everything and I was concerned that I would lose precious photos that I have not saved anywhere else. This device managed to access my files and it's like opening a time capsule as some of the information dates from 2011 to 2015. I like the extra features like SD card reading, dual USB ports, and the ability to read different hard drives like SATA and those with metal pins. Inexpensive and so far very good performance.
