I bought this bike for my 4 year old because he is at the age where he needs a bike with training wheels and will be switching to a regular bike soon. This bike was great for him. It comes in a box and requires assembly, but assembly was pretty easy. It comes with an assembly wrench, so even a beginner can assemble it in a day. The bike has great features. It can be a balance bike (no pedals for beginners to get used to balancing the bike), a bike with training wheels, and finally a regular bike for regular riding. I got the 16" version of the bike because my son is almost ready to ride a regular bike on his own. Once assembled the bike looks great, is sturdy and feels like it will stand the test of time It makes a great training tool for my son and I hope it lasts a year or two before he outgrows it and switches to a bigger bike Overall very happy with this product, the perfect tool for teaching kids to ride a bike.
