Update: After 1 year of using lite. (400 miles) Strap launched with Frey. I went to put on a helmet and the strap fell off immediately. The helmet has not been abused, stored indoors and never got wet. It's just a cheap strap. I ran to the store all night to get a sewing kit, cut off the frayed piece and sewed it back on. If I had an accident, the situation could be very bad. Very soon I will buy a better helmet as my confidence in it has gone. The photo shows the end of the strap that I cut off. This is the part that attaches the strap to the helmet with a loop around a metal anchor pin.
