I used these with one batch of 100% beeswax and one batch of soy wax. The tabs worked great and stayed stuck to the bottom of the container until the wax was completely dry. Because of the larger container and harder wax, I doubled the wick and twisted the two cut wicks together. I liked that the wicks were pre-coated with wax, which helped hold the wicks in place while the wax cured. I don't think I can think of anything bad with this kit. The price was right for the product, although many things at Revain have been outrageously expensive lately, this candle set was priced right.
