Do not buy - kitchen and dining room

I have had a Mueller vegetable cutter for many years, strong and reliable. I was looking for a second device and the newer Muellers model didn't have good reviews, so I thought I'd give this device a try. A very bad choice. I saw a review where the top didn't snap onto the glass base, so the reviewer used a large clamp to do the job. I did it. But the unbearable thing about this grinder is that the blade doesn't stay in the white grinding base with each hit, but retracts into the handle. So I have to take it off the handle with a vegetable pusher and then put it back into the white base so it can chop something else. I have to do this every time. That's ridiculous. Thus, using this device on each grind is twice as long as the time spent using the Muller. Mueller is a German company and its quality will improve every time. Whoever invented this didn't do any viable development testing. Having a glass base is silly because there is no way to attach the chopper's white top to the base. Second, there is no locking mechanism to lock the chopper blade in the chopper's white top. Muller recognized this a few decades ago. So anyone trying to rip off Muller's design couldn't even get the basics right. Pathetic design. waste of money. Better take miller.
