ugly looks good for sun protection

I wanted rock protection for my headlights as I will be traveling a lot in Alaska and the Yukon this summer. The taillight cover was useless, glaring and poorly designed to say the least. The headlights are easy to assemble, but they don't really please optically. It also requires disassembly to wash the headlights, I didn't think of that until I bought them. I've never had a broken headlight and didn't want to risk it.
