I'm remodeling my network in my home computer room, starting with this 4U wall shelf. The package contained pretty much everything I needed to mount the stand to the wall. He had two methods: a couple of screws to attach to a wooden panel and concrete dowels to attach to a stone wall. None of them met my needs. I went to a hardware store and bought some 3/8" wallboard anchors (each good for 70#) and they worked great considering the 100# spec limit for a 4U rack. (Note: Smaller anchors are available to support lighter weights, but I recommend using the max support weight for good practice only.) A full size template is included to help locate the mounting holes. Also included is a small bubble level with a Clip Included Attaches to the paper template to ensure the installation was even. worked like a charm, the instructions even suggested taping off the four corners of the stencil to hold it to the wall to drill pilot holes (drill small pilot holes to see if you're standing on a counter and use use wood screws or just a hollow wall plate anchor) . After installing the anchors and a slight loosening of the screws, the stand simply snapped into place and leveled perfectly. Very quick installation, really good construction, materials sufficient to support 4U. Just good stuff. And with a solid surface, a shelf for light items is added.
