Review on πŸ” Celestron Oceana 7x50 Porro Prism Binoculars, Black - Model 71189-A by Amanda Dolan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good entry level marine/navigation/ranging binoculars.

I was initially skeptical about all the features offered at the price point compared to similar offerings costing many times more. I have read all the Revain reviews and checked the Celestron website to ensure I have a good understanding of reticle and compass binoculars. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Advantages: 1) Clean bright optics with no aberrations. 2) Durable yet light in hand. 3) Possibility of central focusing. especially nice if you want to share without reconfiguration unlike other models. 4) The compass is liquid filled with good cushioning. and accurate 5) With batteries, the compass night light glows a cool shade of blue 6) Nice body, lens cap and strap 7) Razor sharp mil. The conversion table is inside the lens cap. (Right eye grid and compass.) 8) All functions feel tight, no play. 9) All seals appear to be strong and watertight. degrees And find the golden mean to see the compass scale in the eyepiece. But at this price I can live with that.
