Review on 🔒 Black Gate Latch Cable Pull - National Hardware N109-070 by Alonzo Wilkins

I just installed this product. Took me about 30 minutes. While it works, there are a few design flaws to be aware of. 1. The screw holding the lever to the latch was not long enough or wide enough to work and I had to use a replacement with extra washers. The hole in my arm was too wide and the washer that came with it had simply pulled through. 2: There is no way to "push" the lever back down to click. If your latch mechanism needs a little help closing your gate, this product will not work. You'll notice that the cable stop is on the front of the latch so it doesn't push the lever down toward the latch. Overall I would recommend this product but I think the manufacturer could have improved the design simply by sending a second cord stopper. . One for the front and back of the latch. This would solve my problem of needing a little help pushing the lever down to securely latch the gate.
