Review on ๐Ÿšด Bikehand E Bike Repair Stand: A Heavy Duty, Portable Workstand for EBIKEs, Mountain Bikes, and Road Bikes Maintenance (Max 110 lbs) by Brandon Peters

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Trek XL heavyweights happily hold up: Super Commuter +8S, Rail 5, Rail 9.9

Bikehand 110 lb HD Stand holds Rail 5 and 9.9 and Super Commuter high enough off the ground without stability issues. Most often, hold the seatpost with a rag wrapped around the post and finger-tighten the clamps. Take your time and find the best balance for your bike, or open it up for a pre-ride setup and check, I haven't had any issues either way. Be careful when unpacking - mine had a sharp steel needle burr. sticking out of the top tube with a plastic wheel. Easy to clean with metal snips, not the most impressive metal work you'll have but it's pretty good and definitely gets the job done. Mine wasn't new, it had obvious wrench marks and splattered with bike grease in a few places, I didn't care this time. how it worked. It holds the 53-pound XL Trek Rail 5 all day long with no wobble, instability, or slipping. I couldn't get it to move on our hardwood floors or the lawn outside, and the bikes didn't slip even when nailed down. Ditto for the equally heavy 52-pound Super Commuter, and the OCLV Rail 9.9 does particularly well on the electronics setting bench. switches etc. If you haven't used a kickstand this is one of the best bike purchases you can make and it's nice to just admire your machine when you can't think of anything to do with it. I was hesitant at this price but I would definitely buy it again. It is worth paying attention to the kickstand when a heavy or other bike is standing on it, to keep children and pets away from it or close enough to get hurt if something breaks or falls. . If you're new to e-bikes, they're typically twice the weight of most non-powered bikes and take longer to stop or take control if something on the trail/road distracts or catches you by surprise. I'm not going to be a preacher, just sharing what I've learned in a somewhat painful way. Good luck and long journey!
