Made in China, with "Beware of Fire" stickers on plastic packaging. Before I opened it, I smelled some kind of perfume (or flavored flame retardants?) that immediately gave me a headache. I'm disappointed in their origin and the chemicals they use. That's the main reason why I avoid products made in China, they always treat their materials with harmful chemicals. Also, they look as advertised. I won't be sending them to a lab to test the materials the yarn is made from, but it's very hard to believe they're made from natural fibers just by their smell and the warning label. The first.
