I've read warnings that glass has bubbles and will fog up on arrival. Two tiny pinhead sized bubbles that I can't even see with the decor inside ) put them on "I don't mind. I always wash glass items anyway to make sure they are as clean and shiny as possible as they often attract dust and lint. A light rinse with soapy water and the mist will dissipate. I couldn't believe the thickness of the glass, I was impressed! The top rim is really thick and it has a thick bottom, walls slope down (see photos). I bought a 5x12" vase and filled it with cinnamon pine cones (grocery store) and 3cm rattan balls (Amazon) to make a lovely Christmas decoration for my sink. Overall I am happy with my purchase!
