This ICEPURE NSF 42 jug water filter set is perfect for my two Britta jugs and makes my tap water so much tastier. I live in a city with terribly hard water, so I've long used filtered water in my coffee makers and other appliances to prevent limescale build-up. But I temporarily live in an apartment where the water smells and tastes very strongly of chlorine. These ICEPURE filters eliminate the taste and smell of chlorine so my kids can drink tap water. We drink a lot of coffee and use a Keurig coffee maker and coffee maker daily. Using filtered water definitely increases the time between descaling sessions and ultimately extends the life of my coffee makers, steam mops and steam irons. Also, I hate the environmental impact of all those plastic water bottles. I prefer my family to drink tap water so these filters make everyone happy. They fit just as perfectly as the Britta brand filters and seem just as good at a lower price.
