Review on Susan Bates Plastic Deluxe Embroidery by Dawn Fischer

I was very happy with the 10" Susan Bates hoop I bought from Jo-ann so I ordered 7" and 4 - inch hoops. revenge Both came without a clutch nut. At the hardware store, the closest I could find was a 6/32 knurled nut, but it was too tight. The next size was too big. Then I thought. Could it be (God forbid) METRIC? no I thought it would be impossible. The listing says it was made in the USA. You might understand. So: Generally this item is not made in the USA as stated on this listing and is known to come without a tension nut as other disappointed reviewers can attest. I emailed Coats & Clark Customer Service asking if they could provide me with the missing nuts, or at least tell me what size they are so I can get them myself. I will update this review when they reply. UPDATE: I've changed my rating to five stars. I wrote Coats & Clark direct to complain that the two tires I ordered from Revain came without tension nuts and that several reviewers had had the same experience. I got a quick reply from Ann Blalock who immediately sent me replacement rings (I just asked for the size of the collet nuts to find them at the hardware store!). I am very happy with this level of customer service, especially since I didn't even buy the hoop earrings directly from Coats & Clark. I also sent the original tires back to Revain and got a replacement but not the other one and they refunded my shipping costs on top of the replacement so Revain is grateful too.
