Susan Bates Plastic Deluxe Embroidery Review

I bought this along with the baby birth cross stitch item. It's perfect. It's durable and fits snug enough to keep the fabric taut. It's big enough that you don't have to constantly move it around while working on a project, yet small enough to work with easily. It came bundled with a few items I ordered and shipping was very fast and the price was great!

This tire is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Almost perfect as you fit within the scope of the project you are working on. Also, the tire held better tension than most tires I've used. Being plastic, the hoop seems a little more durable than wooden ones, only time will tell if that's true. At the moment I give this tire high marks for ease of handling and tension maintenance. I recommend.

These tires are useless. They don't hold any fabric. Regardless of the tension, the fabric will start slipping out of one side of the hoop because there is nothing on one side to hold it in place. This is BAD DESIGN. Other tires have an outer ring that slides into an inner ring that has a groove in the center that allows the outer ring to fit into the inner ring. I was very happy with the 10" Susan Bates hoop I bought from Jo-ann so I ordered 7" and 4 - inch hoops. revenge Both came without a clutch nut.
