Review on πŸ”§ 2011-2014 Polaris RZR 900 XP Primary Clutch (Pre-tuned Weights and Spring Included!) 900xp by Joe Roberts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works fine in 2013 900xp but weighs a little.

This primary clutch appears to be of good quality with no roughness on the casting. It even came with 2 travel limiters which is nice as it keeps you from popping the straps. It weighed 26-61 while my OEM clutch was 26-59. That 26-61 primary weight gives me a 7800 rpm shift. I think if the weight was closer to my OEM I would go back to 8200 rpm to get the most power out of 900 xp. My 900xp had a complete overhaul about 1000 miles ago so it's broken in. The grip is tight, just not optimized. Suitable for most trips. If you want maximum performance, you can change the weight. Engagement is around 1800 rpm, so starting or reversing is smooth. On my first trip I covered over 300 miles and climbed mountains up to 10,000 feet several times. The clutch worked great up and down. Low speed and high speed were also ok. I have run the existing belt (Gates 21c4140) with no problems or slippage. I filter my belt drive air intake so this should help lengthen that clutch. I also have a newer secondary clutch (6 months old).
