I really wanted this product I bought it because of the remote control so I don't have to fiddle with the heater in the tank this item was purchased from Imaginarium for 5.2 Gallons, which is a secondary tank, unfortunately it couldn't hold the temperature when I put the heater in, in fact when I set it to the desired temp it continued to eat above the desired temp. one and the second were just as bad with the same problem so they were returned if they could fix the heating problem. I would like to give this item another chance, unfortunately I can only give it one star based on my experience with its heater
