Lamp holder works as expected. I like that each output can be controlled independently. But the switches should be labeled which outlet they control. So I added small labels under the switches. As others have said, the plastic clip is a bit flimsy. I put in four large 105w CFL bulbs (the middle socket couldn't be used due to the size of the bulbs) and the bracket went up. But I'm sure it wouldn't last if a softbox was added. In this case, softbox support is likely required. A metal bracket would be much better. There is also no umbrella mount in the plastic mount. To use the umbrella, you need to add the rotating umbrella adapter below (see picture). The description said there would be an extra fuse but I couldn't find it. It's ok as this is a standard 5A fuse. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
