works great for my opinion
I need to fix a small area on a rear lug nut.
It took a couple of times but the threader allowed the stripped lug to restore to use again. Good for quick refinish but I would not recommend threading an entire lug nut.
Pros
- Kind of a pain to keep the two halves engaged, but works well and if you need a split die this one works
Cons
- Only useful for metric threads

I believe there are better designs. This one comes apart too easily if using an open ended wrench. Get one that comes with it’s own wrench.That being said, this one did work but I had to do it several times. I was finally able to get vise grips on it at the correct tension. Too tight it won’t move, too loose it comes apart and you have to start over.
