I couldn't believe its weight when I took it out of the box! Parts of this coupling are made of solid steel and other parts are made of 1/4 inch steel. It has been electroplated and painted and you won't believe the feeling when you drive over it. It includes two rubber isolators that are of serious commercial quality. It has a working load of 11,000 lbs and a breaking load of 45,000 lbs, so you won't get the job done with this receiver D-ring. the fact that they used high performance 45# forged carbon steel. It is cross-drilled so it can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The durability and processing of the product is impeccable. I hope I only have to use this when pulling people off the dishes and vice versa! I highly recommend it.
