Review on πŸ”Œ Energizer Jumper Cables for Car Battery: Heavy Duty Automotive Booster Cables with Carrying Bag - 16-Feet (6-Gauge) by Jared Aguilar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality CopperCladAluminum battery cables

These are the best interconnect cables I have come across and are very affordable. It is made in China. The cables are very flexible and surprisingly light. The main reason is that it is a copper-coated aluminum wire. Pure copper is better, but much heavier and more expensive. That aluminum will do just fine, and why travel with the extra weight? Another reason for its flexibility is that it has 7 strands of 60 strands inside and no corrosion as you can see in the photos. They are marked as 2 gauge wire and I would say they are. The packaging says these cables are rated for 800 amps. I don't want to test it. They are more than capable of jumping off most vehicles and must withstand high currents for very short periods of time. Certainly better than my old jumper wires which turned out to be 12 gauge wires! They are at least 16 feet long. In the photo it is visible a little deeper, but I could not completely straighten the wire. The large alligator clips are easy to open but are strong enough to fit any car battery. The crimp that the wire attaches to is good enough and looks better than other cables I've seen, especially my old one that this new cable replaces. I should have bought this cable a long time ago. If I need a different connection cable, I use this Energizer cable.
