Review on ๐Ÿšด NiteRider Handlebar Clampmount: Illuminate Your Ride with Lumina or Mako Series! by Daniel Delgado

Great mount, bad company policy.

This product does not have to be purchased, but unfortunately it is. NiteRider delivers an absolutely superb Lumina 750 with a mount paired with a rubber strap that is virtually useless. Obviously, a good mount should hold the headlight in place, which the rubber version doesn't. So if you're spending $80 on a headlight that moves across the entire steering wheel, you're wondering what am I going to do? do ? It is very convenient that NiteRider sells the drug for around $12. From a product point of view, the clamp mount serves its purpose and provides a stable and easily adjustable base for the front light. It has the same quick return as the rubber strap version and, contrary to what I've read before, fits the 31.8mm handlebars very well. Others have complained about the screw scratching the paint but I don't see how that can happen. I screwed mine on and there is still some space between the screw and the rod. Of course it's nice to be able to buy an extra mount if you have two bikes and want to switch lights between them, but it should be the standard mount if you're buying a front light.
